Proudly awarded the 2021 ‘Darkhorse Winery of the Year’ by Australian Wine Companion – the Yarran name was selected from the national pool wineries as the up-and-coming winery to watch. \n\n\n\nA vineyard that has spent the last 10 years committing to a more sustainable and organic approach to producing wines\, they are leading the way in this space. \n\n\n\nFor your delight\, we’ll have: \n\n\n\n Yarran Cuvee Blanc NV Sparkling – A refreshing single batch Chardonnay sparkling. Showing fresh apple\, tropical fruits\, creamy palate and zesty finish \n\n\n\n Yarran Organic Pinot Grigio – Picked in the cool of the night and pressed immediatelywith no de-stemming or crushing to minimise any colour pick up from the skins of grapes. Soft and light\, easy drinking with slight tropical fruits and floral lift. \n\n\n\n Yarran Shiraz – Aged with a combination of French and American oak\, this wine displays ripe plum and spicy characters withsoft tannins \n\n\n\n Yarran Montepulciano Rose – Light pale salmon in colour as a result of minimal skin contact. Produced from a single parcel of Riverina Montepulciano grapes; estate grown and lightly pressed. Dry\, savoury\, moreish Rose with light strawberry notes. SUMMARY:Kiama Ultra Challenge
DESCRIPTION:A charity fundraiser based around ultra endurance Indoor Rowing and Cycling will be held on the 15th November\, 2025 at Kiama Surf Club. Event details. \n\n\n\nNardia Guillaumier (2x World Indoor Rowing Gold Medallist and local photographer) will be rowing 100kms on a Concept 2 Row Erg. \n\n\n\nAlan Swan (Kiama SLSC Surf boat crew member and owner of Swan Athletic Jamberoo) will be riding 200kms on a Concept 2 Bike Erg. \n\n\n\nThere is no guarantee they will make it\, but both are determined to push themselves to their physical and mental limits in support of the chosen charities. \n\n\n\nShow your support\n\n\n\nSponsor the event\, donate to one of the teams or donate to the event. Proceeds will be evenly split across four participating charities. \n\n\n\nAttend the event\n\n\n\nThe club will be open to the public\, and you’re welcome to cheer-on the athletes in person. We’ll also have 2 spare row ergs in case you want to give it a crack! \n\n\n\nParticipating charities will have an information table at the event\, so they can offer support to community members in need and also sell merchandise with funds going directly to their charity. \n\n\n\nDepending on weather\, the sundeck bar will be open\, and you can enjoy a nice view of Surf Beach with a drink in your hand while the athletes sweat it out.
