On Australia Day Kiama Surf Club will be running our second Nippers Family Aquathon.

The event will start with an age appropriate swim at the Black Beach Rock Pool, followed by a run back to the Surf Club.

U6’s will begin at 7.30am, with each age group going at 5 minutes intervals. Ages 6, 7, 8 will run a shorter, direct course, while ages 9-14 will run around the Lighthouse to get back to the Surf Club.

Age flags will be on the oval at Black Beach for ages to sign in. The swim will be marked with buoys, the run will be marked with chalk and orange cones.

We ask parents to assist along the course with directions and road crossings, particularly for the younger ages.

There will also be a race for parents wanting to strut their stuff, so bring your goggles & togs! Kids will need goggles, togs, towels & runners. Please wear nippers gear for easy identification.

After signing off at the club we will finish with a breakfast BBQ.
